Name: ________________________
Before you start
Twenty-four ones in a row. Count along it in fives and see where you come to a stop.
Four fives reach 20 and there is not enough left for a fifth. The 4 still sitting there is the remainder, and it is always smaller than the number you were counting in.
1.Divide 68 by 7. How many whole sevens are there?
2.Work out each division, then sort it by whether it goes exactly or leaves something over.
