Word families

Read and build words that end with the same letters.

Some words end with the same letters. Words that share an ending live in the same family.

The -at family

sat, pat, fat, bat. Change the first letter and you get a new word.

Worked example

Let us build the -og family.

  1. Put d in front of -og. You get dog.

    Only the first letter changed.
